Delirium

Delirium is a serious condition that can affect many people, but it is also an issue that most people aren’t really aware of.

It can be very frightening for patients and their families because delirium sees people becoming confused, disorientated and anxious.

Although anyone can get delirium it affects more older people, particularly if they have been in hospital for a long time.

To help families understand more about it we’ve created this video, in which Psychiatrist Dr Anne Featherston explains more about the condition and what to look out for.
