Would you like to be a governor?

Posted on Fri, 25/09/2020

We're looking for governors to join us and the election process starts on Monday 28th September 2020.

This election is to be held for a number of vacancies across four of the Trust’s constituencies

Why you should consider becoming a Governor?

Being a Governor can be very rewarding and interesting.  Governors play a vital role in shaping the future direction of the Trust and the service provided to local communities.

Governors represent the interests of the Trust’s membership (which includes staff, patients and local residents), and the wider public. Governors hold the Trust’s Board of Directors to account.

Becoming a Governor is a good way to build your knowledge about what is going on in the Trust and the wider NHS.

Those standing in this year’s elections are required to view this presentation which outlines the Governor role and the Trust.
