Give and Go service
Posted on Fri, 07/01/2022Launching from Monday (10 January), the Give and Go service will be operating at the main entrance of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, allowing friends/family to deliver essential belongings to patients while they are in our hospital.
The service will be operating between Monday to Friday, 12pm to 4pm.
We are also able to collect laundry if visitors let us know in advance – see below for more information
Please only bring one small bag per patient that is sealed (e.g. a small rucksack or carrier bag sealed with sellotape or masking tape) and marked with the patient’s name, ward details and date of birth.
We ask that only one person attends the hospital to hand in belongings.
Any questions, please contact the PALS team on freephone 0800 953 0667 or email ghnt.pals.service@nhs.net
What can you drop off?
We will accept personal and comfort items.
You will be able to drop off essential items to our Response Volunteers who will deliver these to the ward for your loved ones. Please make sure you observe social distancing when using this service.
