Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Kris Mackenzie as the Group Director of Finance and Digital.
Kris is currently the operational director of finance at Gateshead Health and has worked here since 2018 in various roles. She has also held senior finance positions at NHS Improvement and Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, having worked in NHS finance for over 20 years.
Yvonne Ormston, MBE, Chief Executive at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Kris is a fantastic appointment for our team. She has a proven track record and brings with her extensive NHS experience. I’m confident that she will help the executive team continue to go from strength to strength.”
Kris Mackenzie said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to join the executive team at Gateshead Health. I have worked in Gateshead Health for over three years, and I’m delighted to have this opportunity to lead digital and finance for the organisation.”
Kris will start her new role on 5 September replacing the current Group Director of Finance and Digital, Jackie Bilcliff.
