Looking for a challenge in 2019? Join the world’s biggest half marathon

You can now sign up to do the Great North Run for our charity, QE Charitable Funds.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or thinking of taking the plunge and doing it for the first time, we will support you every step of the way.

There are so many reasons why you should join TeamQE, but here are our top 5:

  1. You can make a real difference to your local hospital. QE Charitable Funds raises money to provide additional comforts, care or experiences for the direct benefit of patients and their families beyond that which the NHS provides. Through fundraising, the charity is able to touch the lives of thousands of people at the QE Hospital every year.
  2. We operate more than 40 charitable funds covering wards and departments across the hospital, which means that fundraisers can identify exactly which part of the hospital they would like to support and we can guarantee that every single penny goes to that area.
  3. You will get an exclusive QE Charitable Funds running top. These are made of technical fabric so are perfect for race day.
  4. You will get all the fundraising help you need to reach your goal. We can provide you with the tools you need to quickly and easily raise money, as well as provide local support and give you advice if you choose to share your story in the media.
  5. You can talk to us. Any questions you have about fundraising, the event or our services, just shout. We’re here to support you.

Our charity places cost just £55 and we ask that you pledge to raise a minimum of £250.

We only have a number of slots and they are going fast.

Sign up now and secure your place in the world’s biggest half marathon by emailing qecharitablefunds@ghnt.nhs.uk
