Our urgent and emergency services at the hospital are currently extremely busy so please only attend A&E if you need this service.

Our urgent and emergency services should only be used for the most serious issues so please use them responsibly.There are many other ways of accessing the right healthcare services for your needs including:

Make an appointment with your GP

Get more stay well advice from the NHS here

See your local pharmacist – your pharmacist can advise on a wide range of common illnesses. If you start to feel unwell, even if it is just a cough or cold, get immediate help from your pharmacist before it becomes more serious.

If you need medical help fast, but it’s not life-threatening or an emergency, call NHS 111 at any time for advice.
