Patient, Public and Carer Involvement

We believe the best people to tell us where our services need improving are you. Our patients. We know we can learn from your experiences of using our services to make things better.

It’s called Patient, Public and Carer Involvement and engagement and we work with people from acorss our community who care passionately about the quality and excellence of the services we provide.

We want to learn from what you tell us directly through complaints, PALS, NHS Choices and patient surveys. We also take on board what local voluntary groups and organisations such as Gateshead LINk tell us that people have told them.

Its important we do this. Not only is it the law, we think it is the most important way in which we can know when we are getting our services right and when there is work to do to make improvements.
