Urgent Treatment Centre

Our Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC) at QE Gateshead and Blaydon Primary Care Centre are able to treat minor injuries. Please use 111.nhs.uk or call 111 who are able to arrange an appointment to attend either of these services.

Our Urgent Treatment Centres offer an alternative to A&E for a wide range of minor injuries. For minor illnesses such as coughs and colds, you can obtain advice and over the counter treatments from your local pharmacy.
