Visiting restrictions

To help protect staff, patients and the local community from the spread of Covid-19, we are introducing visiting restrictions in the hospital from Friday 11 September.

The safety of everyone in our care is always our number one priority which is why we’ve taken the difficult decision to put these restrictions in place.

We realise this is a very difficult time for patients and their families so we thank you for your understanding and consideration.

There are still lots of ways to keep in touch with people staying in hospital, including electronic ‘virtual visiting’, bedside telephone calls, or by sending messages to loved ones through our patient engagement team.
